District 1 Councilor
Sean M. Rose of 14 Dubiel Drive is an Executive Director of a non-profit human services agency, JRI CT. He is serving his first two-year term as District One Councilor.
District One generally includes the following neighborhoods: Salisbury Street, Westwood Hills, Assumption College, Hancock Hill, Grove Street, Holden Street, Indian Hill, Indian Lake, Greendale, the Summit, Quinsigamond Community College, upper Burncoat, Clark Street, Lincoln Village, Great Brook Valley, Curtis Apartments, Montvale and Massachusetts Avenue Local Historic Districts, Hammond Heights, Bancroft Tower, Winter Heights and Richmond/Flagg.
Sean is a graduate of Middleboro High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in liberal arts from Lesley University and was awarded a Master's Degree in education and school administration from American International College. He is also a certified K-8 Principal.
Councilor Rose believes that community partnership is the key to successfully enabling youth, families, schools and businesses to meet their full potential.
Sean is married to Maureen (White) Rose and is the son in law of Thomas P. White. Maureen and Sean are the proud parents of five children.
