Listening Session of Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Plan

    On Thursday, June 13th, 2019 at 5:30 PM, City of Worcester will host a Listening Session of the Key Findings from the draft Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Plan. Members of the public are invited to attend this event to learn about and provide feedback on the city-wide climate change vulnerability assessment as well as recommended priority actions to strengthen Worcester’s resilience to natural hazards exacerbated by climate change.     One of two meeting chambers situated in Worcester City Hall, this room is named after Levi Lincoln, Jr. (1782 - 1868) an American lawyer and politician. He served as Governor of Massachusetts from 1825 to 1834 and in the United States Congress from 1834 to 1841. Born in Worcester he was a major civic and philanthropic force, owning and developing land in the city, and serving as its first mayor in 1848.
