    Report of the Planning Board Upon the Petition of Donald O'Neil, Esq. on behalf of Plaka Realty, LLC request to amend the Zoning Map by extending the BL-1.0 zone in the vicinity of 57 Highland St. to include two additional parcels of land in their entirety located 35 and 33 Wachusett St.

     

    Report of the Planning Board Upon the Petition of Jonathan Finkelstein on behalf of Ed Hyder request to change the zoning designation of a portion of 408 Pleasant St. and all of 4 Winslow St. from RG-5 to BG-3 and also to be included in the CCOD

     

    Report of the Planning Board Upon the Petition of Donald J. O'Neill Attorney for Guri Dura and Marjeta Skenderi request to amend Article IV, Section  8 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow accessory apartments as an accessory use by a Special Permit in all residential districts to create more housing options for residents with minimal adverse effects on Worcester's neighborhoods by adopting the enclosed provisions.

     

    Report of the Planning Board Upon the Petition of Donald O'Neil, Esq. on behalf of Diep Tran request the zoning map be amended by extending the BL-1.0 zone line bisecting the property situated at 49 Mountain St. East easterly into the abutting RL-7 zone along the boundary lines of said lot as shown on the attached sketch to eliminate the lots split zoning status.

    One of two meeting chambers situated in Worcester City Hall, this room is named after Esther Howland (1828 - 1904) an artist and businesswoman who was responsible for popularizing Valentine's Day greeting cards in America. Although Valentine's Day cards had been available in America for more than half a century before Esther started her business she was the first person to ever commercialize them in America. Her valentines became renowned throughout the United States and she was called "The Mother of the American Valentine".
