    MARCH 5, 2024 - PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION

    NOTICE OF ADVANCED REMOVAL OF EARLY VOTED BALLOTS FROM ENVELOPES AND ADVANCED DEPOSITING OF EARLY VOTED BALLOTS

    In accordance with the Secretary of State Regulations the 2022 VOTES Act the City of Worcester will be opening and/or depositing early voted ballots in the Levi Lincoln Chamber, 455 Main Street, Room 309 at the following sessions:  

    1. Saturday, March 2nd, 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM Worcester City Hall, Levi Lincoln Chamber, 3rd Floor
    2. Sunday, March 3rd, 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM Worcester City Hall, Levi Lincoln Chamber, 3rd Floor (IF NECESSARY) 

    Observers must register by emailing clerk@worcesterma.gov in advance of all processing of early voted ballots sessions.

    One of two meeting chambers situated in Worcester City Hall, this room is named after Levi Lincoln, Jr. (1782 - 1868) an American lawyer and politician. He served as Governor of Massachusetts from 1825 to 1834 and in the United States Congress from 1834 to 1841. Born in Worcester he was a major civic and philanthropic force, owning and developing land in the city, and serving as its first mayor in 1848.
