Election Results
The following is a summary of the various election types conducted by the City of Worcester:

Municipal elections are conducted every two (2) years on odd years in November. If needed, a preliminary is held in September.

State elections are conducted every two (2) years on even years in November. If needed, a primary is held in September. In Presidential election years the November election is termed a General Election.

Presidential elections are conducted every four (4) years (i.e. 2000, 2004, etc.) in November. If needed, a primary is held in February.

Special elections are conducted whenever needed, the most recent was held in December 2009.
