The Office of the City Clerk maintains the records of Birth, Marriage and Death. Town records are available for the years 1686 through 1847. City records begin in 1848 and continue to the present day. The City Clerk certifies copies of these records upon request and payment of a fee, please see below.

To Obtain a Certified Copy

Payment may be made in cash, money order or certified bank check.
Payment may also be made by credit card (online only!).
Certified copies cost $14.00 each when transacted online or through the mail.
Make money order or certified bank check payable to "City of Worcester."
NOTE: Copies purchased in person at the City Clerk's Office cost $12.00 each.
