Meet twice monthly on Thursdays at 10 a.m.
Consider applications and issue licenses for on-premises and off-premises liquor establishments, entertaingment, common victulars (food service), lodging houses and related activities. Hear violations of established regulations and impose penalities.
Participate in meetings; become familiar with applicable laws and regulations; exercise sound judgement, fairness and consistency in decision making.
Members come from a variety of backgrounds, with law or business backgrounds being most common. Members make judgements and articulate rationale based on established regulations and the facts of each case.
