Walk-in Equity Vaccination Clinics Available Now in Worcester

The City of Worcester is working closely with faith-based organizations, advocacy groups, community liaisons, Worcester Together, the City of Worcester's Equity Task Force and the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts to address hesitancy and equitable vaccine distribution.

All individuals 16 and older who live, work or study in the State of Massachusetts are now eligible for the vaccine, and many appointments are available, including at local pharmacies such as Walgreens and CVS, the Regional Collaborative Site at Worcester State University (visit www.maimmunizations.org) and Mobile Vaccination Clinics. 

The City of Worcester currently has several Equity Vaccination Clinics available. To qualify for an Equity Vaccine, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Black, Indigenous, People of Color or Latin individuals.
  • Individuals who do not speak English, or who prefer to speak in another language.
  • Individuals who do not have access to public transportation or who have barriers getting to a vaccination site.
  • Individuals who do not feel comfortable receiving the vaccine in a traditional Healthcare setting.
  • Individuals with disabilities and those who have access and functional needs.
  • Individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Individuals with mental illness and/or residents with substance use disorder.

Upcoming Mobile Vaccination Clinics (No Appointment Necessary): 

  • Thursday, May 6, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Lakeside Apartments, 44 Lakeside Ave. 
  • Saturday, May 8, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Worcester Common Oval, 455 Main St.
  • Wednesday, May 12, 5-8 p.m., Boys and Girls Club, 65 Boys and Girls Club Way
  • Thursday, May 13, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Iglesia de Oracion, 21 Canterbury St.
