Worcester, MA (January 3, 2017) - The Worcester Public Library is requesting feedback from the public as part of their strategic planning process. Surveys for patrons of the library, as well as local residents who do not regularly use the library, will be available to the public from Tuesday, January 3 through Saturday, January 21, 2017. The surveys are available online at mywpl.org or at the Main Library and all branch locations.
The surveys are an important step in the Library's strategic planning process. The Board of Directors of the Worcester Public Library is seeking assistance from the public as it considers options for future programs, services and facilities. The planning process will result in a written strategic plan that will serve as the Library's guide over the next five years.
"The Worcester Public Library is a valuable part of our city, and it is important that our patrons have a voice in the future of their Library," said Geoffrey Dickinson, Head Librarian. "These surveys will help us see what our patrons value, and the feedback we receive from the public will play a vital role in our strategic planning process."
