City crews are installing signs this week to convert the portion of South Street between Chapin Street and Shannon Street to one-way travel in the eastbound direction. This change, which was approved by the City Council in October 2022, will provide for safe transportation and orderly access to Union Hill School and reduce disruption for residents on South Street. Changes are expected to be implemented on Feb. 9, 2023.
