The City of Worcester Division of Public Health and the Department of Inspectional Services have lifted a public health advisory at Indian Lake.
A public health advisory was previously issued on September 16 due to preliminary laboratory results of high levels of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae). The most recent laboratory tests show that the naturally occurring algae count levels do not pose a public health risk and Indian Lake is now open for recreational activities.
