Free Energy Workshop

Worcester, MA (November 13, 2014) - On Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a public energy workshop with tips on how to save energy and money will be held at the Boys & Girls Club, 65 Tainter Street.

The Energy Workshop is designed to provide information and assistance to renters, homeowners, landlords and small business owners on how to save money on utility bills. Programs and incentives to help save money and use less energy will be covered, along with neighborhood-wide energy strategies.

During the workshop, a sustainable dance floor, which generates electricity through movement, will be available for use by parents and their children.

The Energy Workshop is sponsored by the City of Worcester with the Grand Loom Works project, along with the Institute for Energy & Sustainability and the Community Builders. The Sustainability Hub and MassSaves are also participating.
