Food Trucks on the Common Returns Thursday

Worcester, MA (January 20, 2016) Three local food trucks will be serving lunch behind City Hall on the Worcester Common tomorrow and every Thursday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

To sign up for updates, visit the Worcester Common Food Trucks event page on Facebook.

Participating trucks include:

The Dogfather
The Dogfather has been owned and operated by the Gallant family and based in Worcester since 2010. They use only Kayem Old Tyme Natural Casing hotdogs and are famous for their chili; they took second place in Worcester's first annual chili/chowder fest for the best chili in Worcester. The Dogzilla is one of their signature dogs: two hotdogs, no buns, covered with shredded cheddar cheese, their famous chili, mustard, onions and Andy Capp's hot fires, all wrapped up in a grilled tortilla.

Say Cheese
Locally owned and operated by Teri Goulette, Say Cheese is a gourmet grilled cheese food truck serving up a variety of different sandwiches. Whether it's fresh mozzarella, cheddar, muenster, goat or bleu cheese, they'll have the right cheese for you. Pair your sandwich with a cup of hot soup, like tomato & carrot bisque, to keep you warm this winter!

Press'n It
From early on everyone knew Matthew Murray would be involved in the food industry. He always seemed to have a passion for exploring new foods and techniques. After studying at Johnson and Wales University, interning, then working full time at one of New England's top restaurants, he honed his skills at several other notable kitchens. Press'n It was born when he decided to take the plunge into self-employment and open a mobile kitchen. Matt's vision is to provide fresh salads, artful soups and pressed sandwiches that will have people craving more.
