Worcester, MA (October 1, 2015) - The City of Worcester is soliciting proposals for a Restaurant at the Green Hill Municipal Golf Course for a period of three years with an option to extend for three additional one year options at the sole discretion of the City, the options of which will be determined at the end of years three, four and five. The most advantageous proposal will be selected from responsive and responsible proposers, taking into consideration price and all other evaluation criteria set forth in this solicitation.
The leased space will consist of: grill room area with seating capacity of 53 along with use of the deck with additional seating of 138, the function room with seating capacity of 70 as per occupancy permit. Additional space includes: the kitchen room and the golf course snack shack located between the play of holes 9 and 10 and storage area located in the basement of the main building. The City shall supply a service bar for the dispensing of beverages, along with 10 bar stools. In the grill room there are 11 tables and 40 additional chairs/stools. In the main function room there are 16 tables and 47 chairs. In the basement storage area there are an additional 38 chairs and 8 tables. There are 10 tables and 40 chairs on the deck along with 5 umbrellas and stands. Total square footage of main floor of building is approximately 4000 sq. feet. The lessee shall be responsible for any additional equipment necessary to run a high quality beverage operation.
