Chairperson Councilor Colorio recognized Councilor Bergman, who discussed whether the recommendation could be approved with the Deputy City Clerk, who explained that as long as the area effected was less than what petitioned, the amended recommendation would be appropriate.

Chairperson Councilor Colorio recognized Councilor Rose, who spoke to area’s residents having difficulty parking, and so he would not be in favor of removing any resident permit parking area.

Chairperson Councilor Colorio recognized Councilor Bergman, who put forth the following Chairman’s Order: Request City Manager request City Solicitor provide City Council with a legal opinion as to whether the resident permit parking program can include properties that are zoned for business uses.

Chairperson Councilor Colorio spoke to the road being used as a turnaround by motorists.

Chairperson Councilor Colorio recognized Councilor Bergman, who discussed the cost of signage with the Assistant Director of Engineering. The Assistant Director said the signs costs in the vicinity of $200-$400 and that they can be reused on occasion depending on the sign.

Chairperson Councilor Colorio recognized Councilor Rose, who agreed with the recommendation and stated that the committee should be consistent in not installing signage that is not effective.
