Report of the Planning Board Upon the Petition of Stephen Lentz request Kenyon Ave. be made a public street. # 17d CC July 19, 2022

Chairperson Councilor Russell read the item and recognized the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks, who discussed the pricing for private street conversion and work done on Kenyon Ave. as part of Acton St. project.

Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized the following speaker:
1. Michael O’Rourke, No resident given, spoke concerning the item

Chairperson Councilor Russell discussed private street upkeeping, the city program to provide free street grindings and the timetable for private street conversion with Speaker #1, the Commissioner of Public Works and Parks and Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks.

Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized Councilor Bergman, who discussed the number of public notices for the item with the Deputy City Clerk.

Chairperson Councilor Russell moved to recommend the item be held.

Russell request Evergreen Ln. from Massasoit Rd. to a pt. 100’ southwest of Massasoit Rd., or less, be made public, for the purpose of installing a surface drainage system to prohibit water going down Evergreen Ln. from Massasoit Rd. # 16d CC February 15, 2022

Chairperson Councilor Russell read the item and discussed the flooding issue on Evergreen Ln., as well as extending the public drainage system with an easement to address the drainage issue with the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks.

Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized the Commissioner of Public Works and Parks, who discussed the most suitable solution to the flooding issue on Evergreen Ln. and provided the recommendation to hold, as more research needs to be done.

Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized the Assistant of Commissioner Public Works and Parks, who discussed the procedure and timetable to install an easement on Evergreen Ln.

Chairperson Councilor Russell moved to accept the recommendation to hold the item.
