The Committee, administration and speakers reviewed the ten points in the proposed amendments to the Tobacco Control Ordinance answering questions and providing clarification. The Director of Public Health suggested an amendment to point #6 (b) that a ban be implemented in public transportation waiting areas. The Committee concurred.

Request City Manager provide City Council with data regarding the price point at which packaged tobacco, especially flavored cigars, becomes a deterrent in youth-oriented sales.

Request City Manager provide City Council with data addressing the unhealthiness of e-cigarettes.
