Recommend Approval to support the City’s Strategic Plan.
Transmitting informational communication relative to recommending adoption of a proposed ordinance to ban environmentally harmful single-use plastic checkout bags.

Request City Manager prepare a report for City Council that compares the environmental impact of the single use plastic bags currently used in stores which the city is proposing to ban versus the clear plastic bags the city is proposing to implement for use in recycling.
Transmitting to informational communication relative to recommending that Four Million Two Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand One Hundred Forty Four Dollars and No Cents ($4,298,144.00) be transferred to finalize the City's Fiscal Year 2019 annual budget by appropriating the City's Fiscal Year 2018 certified free cash.

Petition of Kathryn Hagan request that the dog license fee be waived for owners that are 65 years of age and over, instead of the current age of 70.

The City Solicitor informed the committee that the state law only allows a waiver for owner’s who are 70 years or older so therefore the city cannot reduce the age.
