1.       Order of Councilor Lukes request City Council to authorize Committee on Strategic Planning to update or reconsider the mission statement of the Strategic Plan 2000, and further to consider a mission for Worcester “to become the manufacturing capitol of the Northeast”.  Further, request Committee to look to develop a long term plan for anywhere from 5 to 50 years for neighborhood economic development in the City of Worcester.
