Eddy and Mayor Joseph C. O'Brien - Request City Councils Standing Committee on Municipal Operations meet to initiate employment contract negotiations with the City Auditor. # 11c CC October 05, 2010

The Committee on a roll call vote of 3 Yeas and and 0 Nays voted to recess to Executive Session to initiate an employment Contract with the City Auditor.

The Committee reconvened into open session from Executive Session to announce they were recessing until Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 5 p.m. in the Esther Howland (South) Chamber.

On Tuesday, October 19, 2010 the Committee recessed into Executive Session for the purposes of continuing their discussion regarding the City Auditor's contract.

The Committee reconvened into Open Session to recommend #1a be filed and the following two (2) Chairman's Orders.

That the City Council of the City of Worcester does hereby authorize the Mayor Joseph C. O'Brien to execute the attached employment contract with James A. DelSignore, C.P.A., as City Auditor.

Request the City Manager recommend to the City Council an appropriation sufficient to fund the employment contract with the City Auditor.
