Request City Manager request Commissioner of Health and Human Services provide City Council with an update concerning the implementation of cooling centers during the summer months, in an effort to ensure the city finds an immediate solution to heat related deaths. Further, request said update include information pertaining to how the city plans to address any future increases in heat related deaths, including but not limited to increasing the number of public shade trees planted in the city.
