Request City Manager and Mayor schedule a meeting with our local state delegation and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce to advocate for nonstop express trains at optimal times from Worcester to Boston and Boston to Worcester. Since the MBTA and Keolis are working together, allowing Keolis to reschedule new timetables in order to provide better service. The agreement stipulates new schedules could be set for November 1, 2015 including train lines using North and South Station. The MBTA and Keolis are discussing ways to improve service. (Palmieri)

Request City Manager consider the feasibility of designing and installing a state-of-the-art skate park for skateboarding, BMX, scooter, wheelchair and inline skating at, or near, the site of the former swimming pool at Beaver Brook Park off Mann St. and adjacent to the Worcester Youth Center. Request Parks and Recreation Commission name the beach off Mill Street at Coes Pond the “John J. Binienda Memorial Beach” in honor of the former State Representative who served the 17th Worcester District and the City of Worcester with distinction for twenty-eight years. (Rosen)

Request City Manager forward a copy of the Worcester Public Schools' safety audit/plan to the City Council. (Lukes)

Request City Manager consider providing the update on economic development initiatives to City Council every two months instead of quarterly and further, request the following initiatives be added: 1) express trains, 2) the PresNet properties in the Canal District, 3) the Auditorium and 4) the Midtown Mall.
