Mayor Petty presented a Certificate of Special Mayoral Recognition to the Quinsigamond Community College Robotics Team for recently winning the VEX Robotics World Championship event in Louisville, Kentucky. The certificate was presented to Professor Betty Lauer and Jason McKinney.

Request City Manager submit a report to the City Council listing the following with as proposed in the FY 16 budget: 1.) all new positions, 2.) all upgraded positions, and 3.) all eliminated positions. (Lukes)

Request City Manager submit an estimated assessor's tax recap using the proposed FY 16 tax levy with current real estate assessed values and actual FY 15 assessed values. (Lukes)

Request City Manager review the city's present policy and program concerning the re-striping of crosswalks to determine what changes need to be made so that crosswalks will be re-striped more frequently. (Rosen)

Request City Manager require the various worthwhile organizations that place charity bins on private property throughout the city to empty them on a more frequent basis, and, at the same time, pick up all other items, including those illegally dumped, that often occurs at the foot of these bins. Request City Manager request the Chief of Police to install additional police foot, bike and vehicular patrols in the Lincoln/Burncoat neighborhoods. (Palmieri, Economou, Toomey)

Request the Standing Committee on Youth, Parks and Recreation consider the feasibility of using some public tennis courts or other city facilities for pickleball, a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. (Rosen)

Request City Manager ensure replacement shade trees will be planted in Oread Street and Hollywood Street. (Rivera)

Request City Manager request the Commissioner of Public Works & Parks to create a grass area at Cristoforo Colombo Park (East Park) near the Spray Park with picnic tables and that the appropriate departments be consulted regarding (re)-establishing outdoor events at the pavilion in the Summertime.
