FROM THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - Request City Manager request the City Solicitor provide City Council with an opinion as soon as possible whether or not the City Council may enact an amendment to the local tobacco control ordinance that prohibits the smoking of tobacco within 50 feet of the entrance and exitways of housing properties under the control of the Worcester Housing Authority that are five stories in height and higher.

FROM THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - Request City Manager request the City Solicitor to draft a proposed amendment to the city's proposed tobacco control ordinance as soon as possible that would prohibit the sale of tobacco products in pharmacies and in all areas of "big box" stores that contain pharmacies.
